| Online Posting Grows Your Business |
Online posting is a great tool to use for client proofing and ordering purposes, but it can also be used as a marketing tool to grow your studio's business. The most successful photographers understand the importance of posting everything they shoot on a Collages.net Premium Website. Studio exposure means more business. By posting all of your clients' images online you promote your studio to current and potential clients.
David Cartee of LCD Photography in Kirtland Hills, Ohio states, “My studio currently photographs over 100 weddings annually and Collages.net has helped us to incorporate the online community seamlessly into our workflow. Collages.net event sites allow the bride and groom’s friends and family to view their pictures online and ordering prints is quick and easy. Essentially, Collages.net event sites provide free advertising for my studio and a great avenue for any company to generate extra income with minimal effort!"
Most photographers create a blog post within a week after every wedding or portrait session as a teaser for their clients. Why not upload the entire event to a Premium Website and post the log-in information in the teaser blog post? Don't forget that clients love sharing their images with friends and family. If your clients share a link to your blog post with family and friends, provide them easy access to ordering prints by including the event site log-in information. Posting every event online and adding the log-in information to your blog also allows potential clients and individuals who have found your blog to view more of your work. Remember that every Collages.net event site is Flash based which gives your images the highest level of protection.
Putting your work in front of as many potential customers as possible is critical to growing your business. Online posting is a great way to share your images with current and potential clients and is the perfect way to provide quick and easy access to your work.

| Use Vendor Partnerships to Grow Your Business |
Collages.net understands that photographers are constantly looking for ways to expand their client base and gain more referrals. Some of the most successful photographers have built strong vendor partnerships, allowing them to grow their studio’s referral business.
Building strong and worthy vendor relationships takes time, but can be done with little added effort. At your next wedding or special event, start printing post card-sized prints with a sample of your work along with your studio information and logo to hand out to vendors. At weddings, make sure to hand each vendor an event card with your studio information and username and password to view the photos from the wedding. This allows vendors to view a sample of professional photographs of their product or service.
For a more proactive method of building vendor relationships, try sending a thank you note on a press printed card to each vendor that worked during the event. Be sure to include your studio information and logo on the back of the card. This serves as an additional, personal reminder following the event.
Don’t be afraid of contacting local bridal shops, wedding, and event planners about your business. Brides rely on booking their vendors from word of mouth and vendor relationships, especially when they are unfamiliar with other vendors in the area. Set up a meeting with wedding and event planners and bring your laptop along. Show them a Premium Website demo that displays your best work and remember to pack a 5x5 sample press printed book in your bag. The small size is perfect for showing your work on the go and they are inexpensive enough to leave behind for the vendor to use when consulting with brides. As the relationship with the vendor grows and the referrals start coming in, upgrade the product to a larger press printed book.
Whatever you do, don’t be afraid of promoting your business. The strength and success of your business relies on creating and maintaining relationships not only with clients, but with other businesses.
