This month, Rebecca Zoumberos of Limelight Photography shares how Collages.net benefits her studio and helps her increase sales.

"Limelight Photography was born from a passion for superior quality and service to our customers. We specialize in wedding photography, and one of the first companies we connected with was Collages.net. I love the interface of their consumer site where our brides view the images. I shopped around on some other sites but was the most impressed with Collages.net. From the beginning, working with Collages.net has been a pleasure. They offer us the same fabulous customer service we strive to offer our customers!

One requirement we have is that our brides work with us before their wedding day. A portrait session with the bride and groom allows us to experience a photo shoot together and build a rapport with our clients. Our style of photography involves directing our couples and guiding them through the session. We do ask some crazy things of our couples sometimes: “Take your shoes off and run in the ocean!” or “Sit on the ground and face away from me!” Many times they are shy or nervous in the beginning, but as the session goes on we always end up laughing and having a great time.

After the session I pick my favorite image and create a 5x7 print for each of the wedding guests. At the bottom of these prints I include the Collages.net website, username and password information for guests to view the wedding images. (See images on upper right and below). The bride and groom set these prints out at the wedding on the tables as part of the place settings, or in stacks near the guest book. Without fail, we get tremendous feedback and response from these small prints. We have excited guests coming up to us all the time and asking, “Are you the photographer that created the picture of the bride and groom on our gift print?” When I say I am, they get very excited and tell me they cannot wait to see the images from the wedding.

These prints create excitement and a buzz of energy about my photography before I even take one picture at the wedding. When I leave for the night the bride and groom, their parents, and even the guests usually hug me goodbye and tell me what a great job I did at the wedding - before they have even seen one wedding image! We have people logging in to the pre-posted wedding event the very next day, waiting in anticipation to see all the wedding images. Collages.net’s system has not only generated tremendous sales of our wedding prints to friends and family of the bride and groom, but has also exposed large numbers of people to the style and quality of our work. Many wedding clients have come to us because they were a part of the whole experience with us at another wedding. I have even had referrals from wedding guests who viewed a friend’s wedding images on Collages.net but had never used our services!"
