Not only does collagesColor™ ROES automatically download all of your reprint orders and find the high resolution images on your computer, but it also functions with or without the support of collagesDesktop™. You can work in ROES offline on your Mac or PC computer and send your orders when you’re ready. In addition, ROES provides an enhanced cropping tool, custom template design, more product options, and direct access to all of our products’ online ordering systems.

This month, we sat down with our Customer Service Manager Abbey Saloiye and talked to her about customer service at Collages.net. She provided us with some great insights and a lot of useful information! Read the full interview to learn how we have made customer service the heart of our company here at Collages.net, and how Abbey and her team work to provide you with excellent, friendly service every day.
How does Collages.net make Customer Service the core of the company?
Customer service really is the heart of Collages.net. Everything we do has a customer service focus, and customer service is a part of all our departments. Customers are the most important thing to us, and we pride ourselves on always putting them first. Everything we do has been influenced by our customers. Our desktop software was created based on the needs of our photographers, and our whole interface is user-friendly. We introduced our product line because customers requested it. Even our new Premium Websites were built directly from photographer feedback and requests for new features. We listen to our customers, and tailor our services to their needs.
How does Collages.net’s Customer Service help professional photographers?
We help photographers with a variety of technical issues such as uploading images. We also teach them how to use our services by providing step-by-step instructions and guidance. We share information with our photographers and provide them with new ideas to help them succeed. We share what has been effective for other photographers, and how they could incorporate those techniques and ideas into their studios. Our new Build your Brand web pages also provide valuable marketing tips, designed to help photographers increase sales and revenue.
What’s your favorite part about being Customer Service Manager for Collages.net?
Our photographers! I love talking to photographers and developing personal relationships with them. Since I have been here for three years, I have really gotten to know many photographers and watch them grow. I began speaking with some photographers when they were just starting out, and now they have highly-successful studios. I enjoy helping them expand and succeed. I also love that Collages.net grows alongside our photographers. We help them by creating new products and services to meet their needs, and they help us by providing insights that help us grow and change. It’s an amazing experience watching photographers achieve their dreams.
What traits are most prominently seen in Customer Service Representatives?
Collages.net customer service representatives are extremely friendly and upbeat with great personalities! They are quick learners and good, thorough explainers. They possess a lot of knowledge and are good teachers, in addition to being inquisitive problem solvers. Our customer service reps develop relationships with photographers based on these traits, and frequently a photographer will call to talk to a particular representative, “their” rep.

What is your favorite Collages.net product?
I have two. I like the premium leather albums. I love their brightly-colored covers.
My other favorite product is the 8 ½ x 8 ½ hard cover press printed book with the linen spine. I really like our lab, collagesColor™, too. We have the best color correction!
What type of support is available online?
collagesChat is our newest online support feature. It allows photographers to access a live person and receive a quick answer without using the phone. You can use it to ask anything. We get questions ranging from “What is a fun color for a press printed book?” to “How do your two workflow systems differ?” We also have support pages on our website which provide photographers with lots of helpful information, in addition to useful templates. Our online support is great, but don’t forget we are also always available by phone…you can always call your customer service representative!
What question do you get asked the most?
Right now, I have a lot of people asking about our recent ad in Professional Photographer magazine. They see in the ad that we are now offering products and ask if they can get samples of our products. “Yes,” I say. “You can get studio samples…and at 30% off!”
What is your favorite thing to talk on the phone about when you’re not at work?
I really like talking to my mom on the phone. She lives in West Virginia, so I don’t get to see her that much.
What is your favorite type of photography?
Infant and baby photography. I love maternity through first year photography, especially when it’s all collected in a series. It’s so cute.

At the conclusion of the conversation, you are also e-mailed a copy of the conversation for your records.
