| Finding Your Blue Ocean Workshop Review |
During the past
several weeks, Collages.net’s CEO Kevin Casey has been busy conducting several Finding Your Blue Ocean workshops throughout the country. Workshops have been held in Chicago, Philadelphia, Tampa, and Houston, and the response from attendees has been very positive. Kevin discusses ideas about what profitable studios are doing to stay ahead during these tough economic times, what photographers can change about their businesses to become more profitable, what studio finances really mean, and how studios can plan for the future. These workshops have also been a great opportunity for photographers to network with other photographers in their area.
Register
Register for only $19 online. Every attendee will receive a $50 Collages.net product credit.
Registration is limited to 75 participants per city. All workshops are from 6-9PM.

Professional photographers who attended the workshops have expressed the benefits of attending the workshop. Ray Pryor of Emotia Cinematic Wedding Photography in Chicago said, "I thought the Blue Ocean workshop was great! It was a nice environment to learn and brainstorm with fellow photographers. I appreciated the solid business advice without the heavy-handed sales pitch. Kevin seemed to be honestly interested in our businesses and did whatever he could to help. I especially appreciated learning about the PPA survey results and recommendations on what cost of sales, general costs, and profits should be. It was also great meeting my local product consultant and seeing the products I haven’t purchased yet. It was well worth the time, especially since I got paid for attending!"
Michael Giordano of Life Long Studios recalls, "Our company has been using Collages.net for years. We attended the Finding Your Blue Ocean workshop in Tampa thinking we would go just to show our support. We left that night realizing that the workshop was not just about promoting Collages.net. We learned valuable information about business finances, profitability, business leadership, and employee management. As a large studio in the Tampa Bay area photographing nearly 100 events per year, I didn't think we would learn a lot, but I was wrong. Kevin's ideas and shared experiences gave us some great ideas for our own company. Thank you Collages.net for being more than just our online proofing company. It is business relationships like this that have made us who we are today."
There are still several opportunities to participate in this interactive workshop. If you would like to attend a workshop in your area, visit www.collages.net/blue for dates, locations, and more information.
We would love to hear from you if you attended any of the workshops. Feel free to leave a comment with your feedback and reactions toward the workshop on our blog. Also, if you have any photos from the event, feel free to send them to customerservice@collages.net. We’d love to post them on our blog!
