FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Collages.net takes Professional Photographer Hot1 Award for fourth year in a row

Langhorne, PA, October 8, 2003 - Professional Photographer magazine today announced its “Hottest Product of the Year” selection in the professional imaging products category. Collages.net is the winner for its newest product, MyLabPartner.net (“MLP”), which is presently being commercially launched with Burrell Professional Labs, H&H Color, and Miller’s Professional Imaging. MLP allows photographers to send their film or digital files to the lab in order to take advantage of the award-winning products and services of Collages.net.

The lab uploads the digitized and optimized images and the entire process of creating websites and building CDs and Proof Books is now handled by the photographer using this unprecedented and intuitive web-based tool. MLP completely streamlines the photographers’ workflow while greatly enhancing their ability to sell more images per event or portrait sitting.

Posting online, proofing, collecting reprint orders, designing Proof Books, CDs and DVDs, and ordering finished prints is now a snap with this NEW solution. Best of all, this is a completely web-based system, so it works great with both PC and MAC platforms. Film photographers send film to a participating lab where it is scanned and the digital files are uploaded to Collages.net. Digital photographers upload digital images directly to Collages.net. Once Collages.net receives the images, the website is created and all reprint orders placed on the sites are cropped online by the photographer, finalized, and sent electronically from the MLP tool to the lab for fulfillment using the high resolution images which reside at the lab.

“This new and very simple to use web-based system addresses unmet needs for the industry and has a tremendous positive impact of the workflow and profit margin of the studio," said Kevin Casey, CEO of Collages.net. "To have our service recognized now for four years in a row by the Professional Photographers of America tells us that we continue to meet the needs of professional photographers. We are delighted by this prestigious recognition."

ABOUT MILLER”S PROFESSIONAL IMAGING

State-of-the-art imaging labs are not built overnight. Miller's was built on a foundation laid by generations past and present and continues to grow because of their customers who demand the very best. Miller's began as a small family business in 1939 and has enjoyed steady growth, losing none of the values and ideals inherent in their conception. They now operate from two Midwestern communities that reflect the values and ideals of a family-owned business. Miller's original home is Pittsburg, a small southeast Kansas community. The newer lab is located in Columbia, Missouri, a midsize city located halfway between St. Louis and Kansas City. Both communities offer broad cultural diversity rooted in a strong work ethic.
