Includes tips on creating a logo and information about how Collages.net will post it on your event sites. The knowledge and tools you need for
building your studio’s brand.

Utilize Your Logo
Your photography studio’s logo serves as a powerful marketing tool, as it builds your brand, attracts additional clients, gives your wedding, portrait, and event sites your look and feel, and makes your studio even more memorable.

Collages.net prominently posts your photography studio’s logo at the top left corner of each of your event sites. We also include your logo in every event notification e-mail sent to your guests. Thus, every time an event guest logs in to one of your sites or receives an e-mail notification, they will be reminded of the studio behind their images.

By giving your studio a unique look, a well-designed logo powerfully and effectively communicates your business to your clients. To have your logo posted on your event sites, simply e-mail customerservice@collages.net with your logo attached. The logo should be a JPEG image, with a minimum height of 600 pixels, 72 dpi.

If you are looking to design or redesign your studio logo, keep these easy, successful steps in mind.
Keep it simple. A strong logo has few components: If your logo is too busy, it will not effectively communicate to your audience.
Create an instant impact. An effective logo captures your viewer’s eye and holds your audience’s attention.
Consider copies, color, and sizes. A well-built logo works well in different sizes and is still easily recognizable when reproduced, photocopied, or faxed in black and white.
Represent your studio accurately. If you are interested in projecting a serious, business-like message about your studio, the logo must look crisp and professional. If you are interested in projecting your studio’s light-hearted or fun, quirky personality, let your logo’s design embody this message.
Look at industry examples. What do you like about other logos in the photography industry? How do you want to differentiate your studio logo from these?
