 | | The knowledge and tools you need for building your studio’s brand. | | | | | Drive Traffic | | Now that you have your photography logo situated, it's time to start driving event guests to your storefront. By posting your images online, you have the ability to extend your brand well beyond just the bride and groom or the high school senior’s parents. Online posting greatly broadens your customer range and greatly increases your clientele. At weddings, the bride and groom aren’t your only clients— your customers include everyone at the wedding. At senior portrait sessions, the immediate family isn’t your primary market, online posting reaches relatives and neighbors near and far. Guests, families, and friends are not only purchasers of your images for that event, but they are your best prospects. The proven strategy to profit from online posting is to focus on collecting e-mail addresses at all of your events. By gathering e-mails, your event guests will then be notified when the event they attended has been activated. They can then log in to the event, view your images, and make their purchases. Gathering event guests’ e-mail addresses is an effective marketing tool that is practically effortless, and Collages.net has made this process even simpler. We have designed a few easily downloadable forms for you to utilize at your events. These forms, whether placed on event tables or near the guestbook, provide you with a list of potential purchasers! We have also created an announcement for the Master of Ceremonies to broadcast at your event. >> E-mail Card (large) >> E-mail Card (small) >> MC Announcement Encourage guests to write down their e-mail addresses on the cards. After the event is over, you have the option of entering the e-mail addresses yourself through your Administration Area, or if you prefer, you can fax them to us using the below fax form. We will gladly enter them for you. >> Fax Form Once you have activated the event site, you will then log in to the event’s workflow and place the e-mails in the e-mail queue. Your event guests will receive three e-mails during the life of the site. | | a. | WELCOME E-MAIL - an HTML e-mail containing the username and password information needed to log in to the site | | b. | REMINDER E-MAIL – an HTML e-mail sent halfway through the life of the site to remind guests to place their orders | | c. | EXPIRATION E-MAIL – an HTML e-mail sent as a last-minute reminder notifying guests that the site is about to expire | | | These event e-mail notifications are an important marketing tool as they drive your event guests to view and purchase their favorites images, while also reminding them of the studio who captured them, successfully building your brand. | | | Customize your Event Notification E-mails To further promote your studio, direct clients to your website, or compose a more personal message, Collages.net offers you a unique marketing opportunity - customizing your event notification e-mails. Many photographers use this tool to write more personal messages or to include custom instructions for their clients. However, when you customize your e-mails, the “view photos” link is automatically removed. Therefore, please make sure that in your message, you direct your clients to a URL, whether it is www.collages.net or your studio website. As you might expect, many photographers use this tool to direct their clients to their studio website, enabling clients to log in to their event site through their studio homepage. This is a great promotional tool, as it significantly increases website traffic and studio brand exposure. If you have not yet linked your Collages.net events to your studio’s homepage and are interested in doing so, please contact Customer Service at (877) 638-7468. *Please note that when you tailor your event notification e-mails, they are modified in this manner for all events: event notification e-mails cannot be customized on a per event basis. Please also note when you create a new, custom-made message, it only applies to future events. | | | | | | |
